How can an EMS responder improve training for life-or-death situations? There is an increasing trend of seeing improved skills using Virtual Reality across various careers, not the least of which is medicine. VR allows for interactive navigating of real-life scenarios via headsets.
A study is currently underway to measure the training capability of EMS responders with VR situations. The hope is that there will be an improved rate of competency among first responders who use Virtual Reality Training. The result, although still in the early stages, is already as is hoped.
