Industrial3D had the privilege of working with H-Tec Valves to explain H-Tec Valve Quality Air Valve Solutions, Model 986. This explainer simulation features a collection basin that will begin to pump media through the pipeline to the treatment plant and back. H-Tec Valves Model 986 is an automatic and vacuum air valve for wastewater applications. The valve, made with corrosion-resistant materials, is designed to perform in aggressive environments for an extended period. First, air & gas is automatically removed to prevent stress on the pipeline. Next, the flow is increased in the pipeline with the air pocket removed. Once the pump is complete, the media begins to flow back down the pipeline, which creates a vacuum situation.
