PROCESS & WORKING WITH I3D

What does the animation production process look like?

Our process is collaborative and structured in clear phases. It starts with an initial consultation where we learn about your goals and share ideas. Next, we develop a storyboard for your approval. Once approved, our team builds 3D models and an animatic (a rough animated preview) for your review. We then go through rounds of edits and revisions based on your feedback, and finally render the finished animation for delivery. You are involved at every stage to ensure the final product matches your vision.

Do I need to provide CAD files or technical drawings?

While CAD files, engineering drawings, and technical specifications are extremely helpful and allow us to create the most accurate models possible, they are not strictly required. Our team has deep expertise in industrial equipment and can work from product photos, reference images, spec sheets, or even rough sketches. The more reference material you can provide, the faster and more precise the modeling process will be.

How long does a typical 3D animation project take?

Timelines vary depending on the scope, complexity, and length of the animation. A simple product animation might take a few weeks, while a complex industrial process video or VR application could take several months.
