Tech Companies Transition to Hybrid To Improve Work Flow with VR Tools

After a summer weekend full of fun, starting the workweek at home would be a much more comfortable and relaxing start to the week.  Adobe and several prominent Bay Area technology firms recently announced hybrid workplace models mixing remote and office work options for their employees. A year of remote work environments created by Covid-19 quarantine has caused companies to reevaluate their employee work environment. Adobe has found that a combination of remote work and in-person interactions can be advantageous for some employees. As this article goes on to say,
“‘Last year, when it became clear that work was never going back to the way things were, we saw an opportunity and need to reimagine the employee experience and develop a future-of-work approach that leverages the best of in-person and virtual interactions to foster creativity, innovation, and culture,’ the company’s HR chief Gloria Chen said in a blog post Thursday. ‘While we believe in the value of in-person interactions, we know that in some cases, a remote work arrangement makes sense for Adobe and the individual.'”
As this becomes a more popular choice, app development and VR work environments will become more popular. Productive remote work environments will dictate the need for improved digital tools and immersive environments with 3D graphics. Adobe continues,
“As Adobe moves ahead under a hybrid model, it will ‘double down on digital tools and workflows across the employee experience … to enable our people to be productive working wherever they are,’ according to Chen. In-person meetings will be ‘driven by purpose and designed for collaboration,’ she added.”
